Prof. Dr. Akshay Rathi is a prominent figure in dentistry known for his merits & expertise in the field of Orthodontics.

In 1995, he graduated with distinction as a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from the esteemed Government Dental College and Hospital (GDC&H) in Mumbai, where he was honoured as the University Topper and Gold Medallist for his outstanding academic performance. Under the mentorship of Dr. Prabodh Wadkar, he pursued his postgraduate studies at Nair Dental College from 1996 to 1998, becoming the first postgraduate student under Dr. Wadkar's guidance.

Throughout his educational journey, Dr. Rathi received numerous prestigious awards, medals, certificates, and scholarships in recognition of his exceptional achievements.

He served as a lecturer at Nair Dental and has been an honorary professor at GDC&H, Mumbai, since Feb 2023. He also holds the esteemed positions of Editor at Journal Gonion and Associate Editor at IJADS (International Journal Of Advanced Dental Sciences).

Prof. Dr. Akshay Rathi is the visionary founder of Rathi's Dental Center, Juhu, Mumbai, and has provided his expertise for over a decade at Happiness Dental Center, Oman. His contributions extend beyond his practice, as he has presented lectures, moderated sessions, and held demonstrations at numerous national and international forums. He also boasts a substantial number of publications to his credit.

With his course OrthoTrain, which he started in 2005, he has trained many dentists worldwide to unlock their potential and gain mastery in Orthodontics.

His expertise transcends borders. He has served as the Key Opinion Leader for OSSTEM MICRO-IMPLANTS, a role that showcases his global recognition.

Additionally, he is a fellow in oro-facial pain, TMD, and sleep dentistry from Roseman University, USA, further solidifying his international professional affiliations.
